Did you know that from summer 19, every Marella Cruise ship will be All Inclusive as standard? That means that you can focus on the important things, like enjoying yourself. A selection of cocktails, beers, and wines are included in our standard All Inclusive packages and you can upgrade to Premium All Inclusive for more choice of both soft and alcoholic drinks. Check out a few examples of cocktails you can get onboard…

    Make mine a mojito

Looking for a guaranteed way to quench your thirst on a warm day?  Try a mojito. This classic drink is a staple of cocktail culture, blending a refreshing mix of rum, mint leaves, and lime. Find it on the Premium Inclusive menu on Marella Dream, Marella Celebration, and our Marella Discovery and Marella Explorer ships. And, we’ve shaken things up on Marella Discovery with a Mango Mojito, which adds the fruity purée to the mix. This cocktail is, of course, native to Cuba. Enjoy one on our Cuban Fusion cruise on Marella Discovery 2, which stops off in Havana. If you’re a mojito enthusiast, check out the Hemingway in Havana excursion. You’ll get to visit La Bodeguita del Medio, the rumoured birthplace of the drink, which also happened to be one of author Ernest Hemingway’s favourite haunts.

Sip on a Singapore Sling in Asia

Leave the minibar behind and try a taste of Asia with the Singapore Sling. This cocktail contains gin, cherry brandy and orange liqueur, pineapple juice, bitters, and lime. It was said to have originated in the Raffles hotel in Singapore at the beginning of the 20th century, adapted from the similarly named Gin Sling. If sipping on the Singaporean version in its birthplace sounds like a happy hour you’d like to be a part of, try a Colours of the Far East 1, Wonders of Asia 1, or Enchanting Far East 1 cruise, where you’ll make stops in several Asian ports. You can try the drink as part of your All Inclusive package on all of our ships.

Head to the bar for a bellini

If you’re feeling fancy, treat yourself to a Harry’s Bellini on Marella Discover 2, part of the Premium All Inclusive package. Traditionally served in a Champagne flute, this simple mix of white peach purée and Poeti Prosecco is great at any time of day or night. Hailing from Harry’s Bar in Venice, you can visit the floating Italian city on our Venetian Vistas cruise on Marella Celebration. Relax on a gondola as you’re paddled under sights like the Bridge of Sighs, and grab a bellini with lunch.

What’s covered in the All Inclusive package?

Your All Inclusive package will vary from ship to ship, but will generally include selected draught beer and ciders, a range of spirits and aperitifs, selected soft drinks by the glass, house wine and prosecco by the glass, as well as a range of cocktails. Check our Terms and Conditions for a full list of what’s included. And remember, All Inclusive covers 10am to 2am daily. If you choose to order drinks outside of this window, they’ll be charged to your onboard account.

What’s included in Premium All Inclusive?

Opt for Premium All Inclusive and you’ll get upgraded cocktails included – so it’s mojito’s and bellini’s all round – plus premium gins, vodkas, rums and tequila, including Bombay Sapphire, Jack Daniels and Absolut Vodka. On top of this, you’ll also get more choice of whiskies, brandies and Cognacs, as well as all drinks from The Coffee Port, made with premium Lavazza coffee, cans of soft drinks, and a 1.5 litre bottle of water every day. And, if you’ve already booked your summer 19 cruise, you can still upgrade to the Premium All Inclusive package.
